Description

Bissap flowers come from the hibiscus sabdariffa. They have been used for generations across West Africa to make an intense, tangy, thirst-quenching red drink. Naturally rich in antioxidants, they offer a unique taste between red fruit, redcurrant and lemon, very popular for homemade drinks, infusions, jams or jellies.

The dried bissap in this 50 g bag is 100% natural, with no added flavours or colourings. It can be used for both cold and hot preparations. You can make a traditional iced drink by infusing the flowers in boiling water, then sweetening and flavoring to taste (mint, lemon, ginger, vanilla, etc.).

In addition to being refreshing, this infusion is renowned for its digestive, toning and diuretic properties. It can be consumed at any time of the day, alone or with meals.

Bissap can also be used in original recipes: red fruit jams, homemade syrups, flavored ice cubes, or natural pastries. Its intense color gives a strong visual touch to all your culinary creations.

The 50 g format allows several liters of drink. To be dosed according to the desired intensity. Easy to store, this product is one of the essentials of the African grocery store and also adapts to a more creative cuisine.
